At West Asheville Aesthetics & Wellness, healing is more than symptom management—it’s about aligning the body, mind, and spirit to create true, lasting health. One of the most powerful ways we help clients reach that balance is through the art and science of acupuncture, led by our resident acupuncturist, Dr. Rebecca Evans, DACM, LAc, RN.

Rebecca’s journey into Chinese Medicine began in the high-stakes environment of an intensive care unit, where she worked as a nurse. While caring for patients in crisis, she felt a deep calling to explore a system of medicine that focused not just on treating disease—but on preventing it. This led her to the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, where she earned both her Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Chinese Medicine.

Today, Rebecca brings a rare and meaningful blend of Western medical expertise and Eastern healing philosophies to her clients. She believes that the best outcomes happen when treatments are both personalized and rooted in research—and that healing happens most fully when we address why symptoms are happening, not just how to mask them.

What to Expect from Acupuncture at West Asheville Aesthetics & Wellness

Whether you’re seeking relief from chronic pain, hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, stress, or simply want to feel more vibrant in your body, acupuncture offers a gentle, effective path forward. By working with the body’s own energetic pathways, Rebecca uses acupuncture to restore circulation, reduce inflammation, and support your body’s natural ability to heal.

Her background in sports medicine acupuncture is especially helpful for injury recovery, muscle tension, and joint dysfunction. Having trained under the renowned Matt Callison and treated athletes at UC San Diego’s RIMAC center, Rebecca brings deep anatomical knowledge and clinical experience to every session.

Cosmetic Acupuncture: Radiance from the Inside Out

In addition to therapeutic care, Rebecca specializes in cosmetic acupuncture—a natural, non-invasive approach to skin rejuvenation. Cosmetic acupuncture promotes circulation, boosts collagen production, and supports lymphatic drainage, all while helping to regulate deeper imbalances like hormone disruption and stress.

Clients love this treatment not only for the visible glow it provides, but also for the sense of groundedness and relaxation it brings. In Rebecca’s hands, cosmetic care becomes an act of self-compassion—an invitation to feel just as good as you look.

Additional Services: Cupping & Gua Sha

Rebecca also offers cupping therapy and gua sha, two powerful techniques used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to enhance circulation, release fascia, reduce inflammation, and encourage detoxification. These modalities can be added to an acupuncture session or booked as stand-alone treatments to support athletic recovery, chronic pain, or deep relaxation.

A Partner in Your Wellness Journey

Whether you’re navigating chronic illness, working through stress and burnout, or simply looking to tune in to your body’s wisdom, Rebecca offers a deeply thoughtful and intuitive approach. Her commitment to continuing education, combined with her genuine care for her clients, makes her a trusted ally in your wellness path.
