Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) and EZGEL PRF at West Asheville Aesthetics & Wellness

At West Asheville Aesthetics & Wellness, we offer two innovative treatments—Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) and EZGEL PRF —that harness your body’s natural healing abilities to rejuvenate your skin. While both methods utilize your body’s platelet-rich resources, they differ in formulation and application. Here’s an overview of each treatment to help you decide which option best suits your needs.

Amplifying Regenerative Power with PRF

PRF is an advanced evolution of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. Fibrin is a protein that platelets bind to as they circulate in your blood. When platelets attach to fibrin, they release growth factors that initiate healing by promoting the creation of new collagen, blood vessels, and skin cells.

PRF is particularly effective because it not only offers the benefits of PRP but also continues to release growth factors over time, enhancing the healing process for several weeks post-treatment.

EZGEL PRF

In addition to liquid PRF, we also offer PRF EZ Gel, a cutting-edge option in the aesthetics field. This treatment combines heated albumin with PRF to create a natural gel-like filler. The heated albumin, when mixed with cooled PRF, forms your own natural filler that can rejuvenate areas of volume loss across the face. PRF EZ Gel is an excellent alternative for those who prefer not to use traditional hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, as it is 100% autologous, biostimulating, and volumizing. This treatment has shown great results, especially for individuals experiencing tear trough depletion.

Formulation and Application

  • PRF: This involves drawing a small sample of your blood, processing it to extract platelet-rich fibrin, and then applying it directly to the skin. This concentrated mix of platelets, growth factors, and white blood cells promotes collagen production and tissue regeneration. It helps tremendously with rosacea!

  • EZGEL PRF: This technique builds on PRF by mixing it with an albumin gel-like substance from your blood, allowing for smoother application and deeper penetration. This results in enhanced absorption of growth factors into the skin and surrounding tissue.

Results and Benefits

Both PRF and EZGEL PRF stimulate collagen production, leading to improved skin texture, firmness, and radiance. The key difference is that EZGEL offers volumizing effects and deeper absorption, potentially enhancing your overall results.

Treatment Areas

These treatments are versatile and can effectively target multiple areas, including:

  • Face: Treating wrinkles, fine lines, and restoring volume while improving skin texture.
  • Neck & Décolletage: Tightening skin, reducing wrinkles, and enhancing overall quality.
  • Hands: Addressing volume loss and wrinkles.
  • Hair Restoration: Stimulating hair growth and enhancing quality.
  • Scars & Stretch Marks: Minimizing their appearance.
  • Other Areas: Such as knees, elbows, abdomen, and buttocks for rejuvenation and tightening.

Both PRF and PRF EZ Gel offer a natural, holistic approach to skin rejuvenation. If you seek additional volume and a more robust treatment, PRF EZ Gel may be the better choice.
